Untraditional....

Christmas cards are some of my favorite cards to make.  I love taking traditional Christmas images and kinda "tweaking" them.... Again, I am using the Christmas Star from Penny Black here and decided to go all "Blue Christmas" with it.  I hope you like it!

                                                                  
I am not sure about the placement of the 'bling" but the vellum, which I love using, was not cooperating and staying in place.  Thus, some awkwardly placed bling to hold it down.  ;-(

Oh, great, Sheila.....I will be singing Elvis' "Blue Christmas" in my head all day! Ha! Love this unique twist on the tradition.....your coloring is wonderful!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the vellum and the turquoise! One would NEVER know the bling wasn't strategically placed! LOVE all the different patterns of paper you used! FAB card!
